Responsible for meeting the surgical patient’s needs through their pre-op and intra-op surgical stay. Assumes responsibility and accountability for the delivery of nursing care; including care provided by those directly under her/his direction, such as the Open Heart Surgical Tech, Patient Care Partner and any other non-licensed provider of care.
